Peanut Butter Blossoms

Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms are soft, chewy peanut butter cookies topped with a signature Hershey’s Kiss, perfect for holiday baking or anytime a sweet treat is needed.

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Granulated sugar, for rolling
  • 48 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and egg until well blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll each ball in granulated sugar.
  6. Place the balls onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie; the cookie will crack around the edges.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

For a festive twist, try using flavored Hershey’s Kisses like peppermint during the holidays.
