This Magic Candy is a delightful treat that seemingly changes flavors as you eat it! It’s a fun and simple recipe perfect for kids and adults alike, offering a unique taste experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon flavoring extract (vanilla, almond, etc.)
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Continue cooking, without stirring, until the mixture reaches the hard-crack stage (300-310°F or 149-154°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the flavoring extract and food coloring (if using).
  5. Pour the mixture onto a lightly greased baking sheet or silicone mat.
  6. Let it cool completely until hardened.
  7. Break the candy into small pieces and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle with edible glitter before the candy hardens. You can also use different flavor extracts to customize your magic candy.
