A bright and zesty lemon vinaigrette that brings a fresh, tangy flavor to salads and vegetables. This easy-to-make dressing is perfect for enhancing any dish with natural citrus notes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, and minced garlic.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking to emulsify the dressing.
  3. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to one week. Stir or shake well before using.

Notes

For a creamier texture, blend the vinaigrette with 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt or add freshly chopped herbs like basil or thyme for extra flavor.
