Lemon Pepper wings

Crispy and flavorful Lemon Pepper Wings tossed in a zesty lemon pepper seasoning, perfect as a snack or appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, lemon zest, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. While wings bake, mix melted butter with fresh lemon juice in a small bowl.
  7. Remove wings from oven and immediately toss them in the lemon butter sauce to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, watching closely to avoid burning.
