Honey Ricotta Pizza

A delightful and naturally sweet Honey Ricotta Pizza combining creamy ricotta, fragrant honey, and a crisp crust for a perfect sweet-savory treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade, about 12-inch)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3 tablespoons honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh thyme leaves or rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or preheated pizza stone.
  4. Mix ricotta cheese with honey, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Drizzle olive oil lightly over the top.
  7. Bake the pizza in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp.
  8. Remove from the oven. Drizzle additional honey on top and garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary and a pinch of black pepper.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding thinly sliced figs or a sprinkle of toasted nuts before baking.
