Energy Ball

These Energy Balls are a wholesome, no-bake snack packed with natural ingredients to give you a quick boost of energy anytime during the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and salt.
  2. Add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  4. Fold in the mini dark chocolate chips evenly throughout the mixture.
  5. Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  6. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute sunflower seed butter for peanut butter. You can also roll the balls in shredded coconut or cocoa powder for extra flavor and texture.
