Delicious Ghost Mini Taco Pies

These adorable Ghost Mini Taco Pies are a fun and festive Halloween treat! Individual taco pies get a spooky makeover with cheese ghosts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (10 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 slices white cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
  4. Press each biscuit into a thin circle.
  5. Press biscuit circles into greased muffin tins.
  6. Spoon taco meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
  9. While taco pies are baking, use a small ghost-shaped cookie cutter or knife to cut out ghosts from the white cheddar cheese slices.
  10. Let taco pies cool slightly before removing from muffin tins.
  11. Top each taco pie with a dollop of sour cream, sliced black olives, and a cheese ghost.
  12. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a layer of refried beans to the bottom of each taco pie before adding the meat mixture. Get creative with the ghost faces using small pieces of black olive or pimento.
