This Garlic Shrimp Bowl features succulent shrimp sautéed in a rich garlic sauce, served atop a bed of fluffy rice and fresh vegetables for a wholesome, flavorful meal.

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup jasmine rice, cooked
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and lemon juice, cooking for an additional minute.
  5. Divide cooked jasmine rice into bowls.
  6. Top rice with steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and garlic shrimp.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with red pepper flakes or fresh herbs like cilantro. Serve with a wedge of lemon on the side.
