  • 1 large baguette
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 8 oz wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Optional: honey and chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice baguette into 1-inch thick rounds without cutting all the way through to keep the shape intact.
  3. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  4. Carefully spread the garlic butter mixture between each slice of the baguette.
  5. Form the baguette slices into a circular wreath shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Place the brie wheel in the center of the wreath and drizzle it with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, until the bread is golden and the brie is melted and gooey.
  8. Garnish with a drizzle of honey and chopped nuts if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or fresh rosemary to the garlic butter mixture before baking.
