Christmas Cracker Candy is a delightful holiday treat combining crispy pretzels, rich chocolate, and festive sprinkles for a sweet and salty snack perfect for gifting or parties.

  • 40 pretzel rods
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup holiday-themed sprinkles
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for melting)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the pretzel rods in a single layer.
  2. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add coconut oil if needed for a smoother consistency.
  3. Dip each pretzel rod halfway into the melted semisweet chocolate, then place back on the parchment paper.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies or chopped nuts on the chocolate-coated portion.
  5. Repeat the melting process with the white chocolate chips.
  6. Dip the opposite end of each pretzel rod into the melted white chocolate and immediately decorate with holiday sprinkles.
  7. Allow all coated pretzels to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15-20 minutes until chocolate hardens.
  8. Once set, arrange pretzel rods and optionally wrap them in festive cellophane for gifting.

Notes

For extra flair, drizzle contrasting chocolate over the set rods or add edible glitter to enhance the holiday sparkle.
