  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
