Chocolate Cheesecake

A rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake combining a smooth chocolate filling with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for any dessert occasion.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz (680g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 oz (225g) semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix in melted chocolate and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  6. Fold in the sour cream gently.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 55-65 minutes, until the center is almost set but still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off oven and leave cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  10. Remove from oven and chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, serve with fresh raspberries and a dollop of whipped cream.
