Chicken with Boursin Sauce

Tender chicken breasts cooked to perfection and served with a creamy, flavorful Boursin cheese sauce, making for an elegant and easy dinner option.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese (garlic and herb flavor)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Reduce heat to low, then add Boursin cheese and heavy cream. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

For an extra touch of flavor, serve this dish over cooked pasta or steamed vegetables to soak up the creamy Boursin sauce.
