Cake Mix Cookies

Deliciously soft and easy-to-make Cake Mix Cookies that combine the convenience of cake mix with classic cookie texture, perfect for a quick dessert or snack.

  • 2 cups cake mix (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
  4. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the cookies are lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
