Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs

Crispy on the outside and bursting with warm cinnamon-spiced apple filling inside, these Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs are a quick and delicious dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Cook for 5-7 minutes until apples are tender and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place about 1 tablespoon of the apple filling in the center of each triangle.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges together to seal completely, forming a small ball or ‘bomb.’
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the apple pie bombs in the basket, leaving space between each.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce for an extra indulgent treat.
