  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the fresh cranberries thoroughly.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water; stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves completely to make a simple syrup.
  3. Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Add the cranberries to the syrup and stir gently until they are fully coated.
  5. Using a slotted spoon, remove cranberries and roll them in granulated sugar until fully coated.
  6. Place the sugared cranberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them dry for about 1 hour at room temperature before serving.

Notes
